S. ANDREW BARNETT
Meet Andrew Barnett, Manufacturing Administrator
Andrew has over two decades of experience in the aerospace industry. His initial exposure to aerospace was in various production positions here at Indy Honeycomb. For a year and a half he lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, managing our SE Asian production facility. He then spent 8 years at Meyer Tool in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a Project Engineer. While there he mainly worked on flight hardware programs for GE, Rolls-Royce, Honeywell, and Pratt & Whitney. Most recently he worked as a Quality Engineer at Machintek, a contract machine shop in Southern Ohio, helping drive change as they entered the aerospace and defense markets. Navigating the complex quality requirements of customers such as Ball Aerospace (now BAE Space & Missions Systems), Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, and the DCMA/DLA, was an invaluable experience for Andrew. But honeycomb is in his blood, and he returned to Indy in late-2024 to help our team as a Manufacturing Administrator.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys camping with his wife and their 6 kids, working on his vehicles, and tinkering on projects around the house.
